Family Life

Children's Nursery - Babysitting is provided in the Education Center during the 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. masses for children 9 months through five years of age. Qualified adults and teens provide the sitting service. Children may be dropped off prior to the start of Mass. Those wishing to help staff the nursery should contact Monica Roussel through the parish office at (225) 673-8307.

Evenings for the Engaged - Engaged couples are invited into the homes of sponsor couples who conduct this program. Over a six week period, couples will discuss several topics related to marriage with the sponsor couple. Marriage Encounter - Worldwide Marriage Encounter's mission is one of renewal in the Church and change in the world by assisting couples to live their marriage relationship fully. Marriage Encounter weekends are held regularly. M.E. members provide a Catholic "experience" and ongoing community support for the vocation of marriage. Retrouvaille - Retrouvaille is a program of support for married couples encountering difficulties in their relationship and for those wishing to revitalize their marital commitment.
